Wow, where does the time go? Well, in the spirit of once again trying to attempt to keep a blog going here's a brief update on the latest happenings. In a nutshell, we sold our home and moved Oct.1 to a rental home, then on Oct.26 that house flooded and we moved again 6 days later. Also, on Oct.26 Jim had major back problems (determined he has 2 bulging discs) and was basically out of circulation for almost 8 weeks (I accused him of timing that with the flood to get out of having to move us again - he wasn't amused - imagine that!). So all of that delayed our plans to look for another house to buy for about 3 months. Now, after looking for a house for the past couple of months and not finding anything to fit our needs, we are once again going to build a home in Bentwater. Our initial plans of moving to the Kerrvile area or getting a place with a couple of acres has been altered a bit since Jim will probably not be able to take care of a large yard and anyone who knows me knows I don't "do dirt"! We just purchased 2 lots as shown below. We will update the site as construction starts so anyone who cares can see it's progress. Hopefully within 6 months (how's that for optimism) we will once again be in a home of our own instead of surrounded by boxes and unable to find ANYTHING!!
